The PHOENIX program website (v1, Oct. 2022) and Virtual Data Warehouse (IRB-22-02-4397; Principal Investigator: Steven J Korzeniewski, PhD) are made possible by support provided by Wayne State University, both state and national funding agencies and an array of valued supporters. Our aim is to provide aggregate health information about different geographic areas (not individual people!) for purposes of community engagement and to directly inform public health stakeholders about the local burden of exposures that might contribute to lifespan inequality. We do so by integrating publicly available data with clinical information from limited use datasets that are provided under specific data use, material transfer or business associate agreements. Because data collection and analysis is ongoing, and because planned scopes of work to expand the functionality of our interactive map tool are underway, please expect future updates to occur iteratively. All changes will be documented and posted along with each new version release of our website or interactive map. By accessing this website and its interactive map, users agree not to attempt re-identification under any circumstances. If you have questions or comments, please use the Contact form at the top of the site to send us a message.
